Printing and Photocopying for Visitors to ITB
If you are not a student or staff-member at ITB, and you wish to photocopy or print, please watch this tutorial or follow these instructions:
Step 1: register with ITB’s Mobile Print by sending an email (from a non-ITB email address) to email@example.com
Step 2: you will receive a response email containing a 6 digit username and a 6 digit password.
Step 3: add credit to your account. It costs 6c per black-and-white page or 18c per colour page. Add credit by logging in here with the username you received by email: https://www.itb.ie/mobileprint/index.asp
Step 4: open a new email and attach the document you wish to print. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Step 5: login at one of the library printers
Enter your Username: in the User ID field
Enter your Password in the Password filed
Select the Login button in the bottom right of the screen.
Step 6: select the Follow-You Printing icon
Step 7: view the Documents in the Queue
Step 8: select Documents to Print
by touching document name on the screen.
The selected document will be highlighted in yellow.
The area highlighted in yellow on the right contains the following details
- Number of documents selected
- Number of pages
- Colour format
- Simplex (default one sided printing)
Step 9: logout to finish
Kopikat 1 is a black-and-white printer. All documents released here will be printed in black-and-white and charged at 6c per page.
Kopikat 2 and 3 are both black-and-white and colour printers. All black-and-white documents released here will be printed in black-and-white and charged at 6c per page. But if there is any colour in your document, the whole document will be printed in colour and charged at 18c per page.
Colour documents can be printed in black-and-white by selecting the Force B/W option before printing. Such documents will be printed in black-and-white and charged at 6c per page.
